Friday we will be celebrating Frozen Friday. We will have 3 different high schools headed to West Monroe so we need our students to show up and show your Rebel spirit! Please wear white or your favorite Frozen themed attire to school on Friday as well as to the basketball games or soccer games. And at both events, we will be passing out free spirit gear! You will receive inflatable blue spirit sticks to bang together to help us at the playoff soccer games. Girls soccer game starts at 3:30 and the boys soccer game starts at 6. At the basketball games we will have free white Rebel headbands and spirit towels to wave as we face off against West Ouachita. Friday's basketball game will also be senior night so please come to help honor your favorite senior basketball players between the boys and girls games. Girls basketball game starts at 5:30 with boys following at around 7. So remember, wear white and let's have a fabulous FROZEN FRIDAY!!!

The Lady Rebel soccer team will be hosting Airline HS in the first round of playoffs this Friday. Kickoff will be at 3:30pm. Ticket Prices are $8 for Adults, and $2 for Students. There will also be free pizza and drinks for all students who attend while supplies last. Please make plans to come down to the stadium right after school on Friday and cheer for the Lady Rebels!!!

The boys will also be in action on Friday versus Woodlawn from Baton Rouge.  Kickoff will be at 6:00 pm.  Tickets are $8 for adults and $2 for students.  This is a playoff game and requires a separate ticket from the girls ticket and no athletic passes can be used for either playoff game.  Students who attend the boys game will have free cookie cake and hot chocolate while supplies last. 

The next Rebel Art Club meeting will be Tuesday, February 7th after school until 4:30 We will be making Valentines for residents of the Veterans Home. Please check Google Classroom for additional information.

Jr Civitans will have a “sweet” meeting on February 7th, at 3:15, in Mrs. Beach’s room (6206). Please sign up for the meeting on our Google Classroom so we know how many to plan for. Also, if you have not picked up your T-shirt yet, stop by anytime to get it.

Attention all sophomores:

Thursday, February 9, 2023, all 10th graders will take the PreACT test. The PreACT is a paper-and-pencil test consisting of multiple-choice sections for English, Math, Reading, and Science. There is no written essay portion on this test. All students are expected to be in attendance on this test day.  A regular schedule will run on this day and all classes will be held.

West Monroe High School will be offering a Spring test date for the ASVAB test, Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023. Any student interested in taking this exam should see Col. Hart or Sgt. Campbell in the ROTC building or may stop by at any time to see Mrs. Williams in the Testing Office.
